On March 10, 2023, Managing Director and Deputy Managing Director of Siam Compressor Industry Co., Ltd. (SCI) and the rector of Prince Songkla University (PSU), one of Thailand’s leading universities for digital and AI technologies, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding as SCI and the Intelligent Automation Research Center, Faculty of Engineering, PSU,  will partner to work on 2 development projects to improve product quality and work processes through the integration of advanced digital and AI technologies. 

1. Higher Education for Industry Consortium Project, or Hi-FI, is a government-funded master's degree education program for developing specialists in which educational institutes participate to level up individual competency, create commercial research, and invent intellectual property for the organization and the university. To start this project, a PSU master’s degree student has been accepted for the AI development project to inspect the quality of M-shell production processes in SCI.

2. SCI-NVision Professional Co-development Project is a collaborative project between SCI and PSU’s Intelligent Automation Research Center to enhance the AI platform to be more friendly using, fit for industrial uses and upgrade business operations to Industry 4.0. 

This is the latest move of digital technology and artificial intelligence in SCI as well as a step forward as The Greener Solution Provider.
